My friend was reclining the electric seat (passenger side) and after it went down, it wouldn't come back up. The motor makes a noise, but it doesn't move, any suggestions?
Dude, mine's doin the same thing too... My driver's side seat will tilt back, but won't come forward any more. It used to make the sound like it was trying to come back up, but now it doesn't. Maybe the motor fried or something...
I've got a lot more stuff to work on first, so i haven't come up with a solution yet. Sorry.

I'm sorry but this topic is hilarious for me. Take it to the dealership sound like a $100- $500 fix.
Or you could replace the motors yourself. See the DIY section.
good luck

nah dude the color is the same...not many calypso red 252's in the E36 forum.
dont tell anyone....but this is the best color IMO for the E36.....shhhhh!
Yeah, it is an awesome color. I wish it wasn't a convertable though.. it has so much weather damage. Everything inside is weak and falling apart, the speaker trim, the leather, etc..
