Electric Problem

hi everyone, i got some problem 94 year model .. 316
electric problems with

(1)driver seat heat, indicator lamp is working
but no heat,
(2)rear window heater also indicator lamp working . but no heat at the rear window,

(3)org bmw alarm dont sound anyting , just flash when aktivated , an when alarm goes of..

is there any global error

stupid question, but did you check the fuses for these items?

Also, the seat heater elements are prone to going out....
Have you checked with a multimeter at the connection for the seat element to see if there's any power going to it? If not, then start tracking back up the line.... it's not fun, but electrical problems are the biggest pain to diagnose ghead

Open hood. Look for a black box. There is a cover on top. Inside on the backside of the cover is a little diagram of the fuses. Also inside that box are relays. Have your relays checked and also check your fuses. If the little metal thing inside the fuse is snaped its bad. However, the diagram doesnt show anything about the relays so find a friendly mechanic that will maybe test them for you, plus you need a manual to find out what each relay is for.

the fuses is checked .. have not check the relays .. i thougt maby if there was a
relay thats control al the featuersor some . or if a could measure it,
if it same relay as the passager seat ? och if its on difrent an then why ..
please some serious answer

do any one have a english map over fuses and relays ??
could be nice .. maby a link ..
