hey guys i know someone who is selling and ECIS intake kit for a good price but it came off of his m3. Could that intake still fit on my 95 325i? I dont know why it shouldnt be able to fit but i just want to double check with you guys.
I am not sure, as it depends. I believe that the M3 has a 3.5" intake where the 325 has a 3" intake. Alot of companies will tell you if it will work, just give them a call and ask them.

Go to the ECIS web page and see if the part numbers are the same. I believe they look the same, except, as J said, the M3 is larger diam. intake. You might can make the connection stretch enough to make the connection or get a smaller piece for the tubing.

I don't know about the 328. but I suspect it is different being lumped in with the M3. As J said, give them a call tomorrow, or email. I'm sure they will be glad to help. how much of a deal is it? Might be worth it to buy and modify, maybe.

It will work fine, and having a larger diameter intake is actually an improvement (albiet air will still be restrained when it goes from 3.5 to 3) I have a 3.5 cosmo's CAI and used a 3.5 to 3.0 reducer that you can find in any plumbing supply department.
To do list:
Suspension--- researching
UUC System U TDM- 3/05
M50 manifold converstion 3/05
off to the tuning shop for custom software 4/05
Cams/lightened flywheel, throttlebody........ well lets see what happens
some one else on a different forum said that it will fit but i will just need to attach the thermostatic sensor onto the heat sheild since on an obd1 car it attachs to the airbox.
