I am new to this forum and I am 90% sure I know the answer, but I thought it was worth asking. Has any one here ever purchased cross drilled and slotted rotors of Ebay. They are $80 for all 4 and its almost too cheap to pass up. Are these things going to rust and warp a week after I get them? Any one ever try them?
I bought some cross-drilled Brembo rotors off eBay a while back... not those though. I think mine were like $220 for front and rear. Pretty good deal at that price. I would be weary of rotors for that price...
Ya these aren't Brembos... They are some Chinese brand. I think I am going to go ahead and pass on them, but does any one know where I can get inexpensive reliable rotors? I would like cross drilled/slotted but am a broke college kid so I can't be too picky.
What will you be using them for? If it's everyday driving I would definitely shy away from getting slotted rotors. You will see you brake pad life go way way down. If it's for a track then go for it. Cross-drilling is fine though.
I'm not taking her to the track its just every day. I read up on it and I think im going to stick with just stock, but I am going to need some new rotors here soon. Any one know where to get some inexpensive one?
