Bought set of clear tails from him ( I already have a set, looking to upgrade), claimed to be genuine BMW part, but was a bad aftermarket. They also arrived broken. I had emailed him prior to bidding asking if genuine BMW parts, he claimed yes. A-hole!
He is refusing to refund me and left neg feedback after I left him neg feedback (I waited several days hoping for resolution/refund).
AVOID: euro_part_trader on ebay
Yes, I've already filed claims etc.
Sorry if this isnt the place, just a warning for other potential victims. He is selling M3 and e36 parts.

If you paid via paypal FILE A COMPLAINT IMMEDIATELY! They will investigate and if he is found to be selling faulty lights or mislabelling then its fraud, and they will refund your money.

I did pay by paypal. They are looking into it. This was the only set he was selling. It looked like he was parting a portion of an M3, but again, he stated that the clears were genuine BMW when I asked him prior to bidding. So he lied about that and his feedback was 100%. So, just don't buy form him. I've been on ebay a long time and this is the first such blatant cheesedick. They're out there

Actually, if you file a complaint via paypal, you'll find that after a few long weeks (sometimes months) of waiting, they won't do anything to help you refund your money as long as the seller has proof of delivery...
according to their terms of service, as long as the seller provides a receipt that shows that (any) package arrives at your confirmed address, they are protected. It also states the paypal buyer protection does not cover any issues regarding 'quality' and/or item specific disputes...
I'm afraid you're screwed my friend...I know this, because I'm an experienced buyer/seller on ebay.
You're only hope now, is to go to Squaretrade, and file a case. Squaretrade is a very good company that provides mediators between people, and it works most of the time..
I've already gotten a reply from paypal indicating there's not much it seems they will do.
I did file with Squaretrade, and thanks for the info. Fraid that I did indeed get screwed. Oh well, live and learn, and place hope in the old addage 'What comes around goes around".
I'm hoping ebay will suspend this guy at least.
By the way, anyone tried to get funds replaced by their credit card company?
That might be the way to go, and they may pursue the issue--who knows.
I tell you, it's not about the $150.00, but about being played.
Thanks for all the support and info.
Ted

If you paid with a credit card you can call the guy, tell him to refund the money, or you will dispute the charge with your credit card company for fraud.

Also, I can't really sell these items. They're broken and crappy to begin with.
I will email the guy as suggested and pursue this matter with my credit card company.
Cheers Ya'll

This guy was previously selling under the ebay ID Bimmerpartssf . I bought a used BMW part from him and still have not received the item. It seems to be held in Canada Customs due to lack of proper filliing in of the declaration.
He sends other lower forms of life to do his shipping duties.
Go to your credit card company and complain thats what I did. He just sneers at you behind his computer. This guy needs his bell rung. Maybe a kick in the wallet will get his attention.
If you need parts find someone with a better reputation.
