e90 just barely came out, i highly doubt it...wat are the specs and price on the motor? y would u wana drop it in a e36 instead of getting a euro spec for 7K -10K?
too many issues with this swap,, all the controls are fly-by-wire, the OBD2 system is a lot more complicated with sensors etc. i would never bother, its easier to do a E46 M3 engine than an E90

problem is that with the e46 ull never get the damn double vanos to work...
you can but you really need someone to know what they are doing, ive heard of it being done , and im sure its gonna be expensive. the hardest part is not the motor its if you have hte wiring harness or not
isnt the e90 3L engine the e46 ZHP 255hp engine? I think itd be useless..itd be cheaper and better to do a S52 OBDI conversion and i bet you could turbo for the price ofjust a ZHP engine.

Nope, the e46 ZHP is onyl 235 bhp.
