E46 18" OEM M3 Alloys on an E36?

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum and looking for a little bit of help/advice.

I have an E36 328i Sport (97) and am looking to purchase a set of E46 OEM alloys with tyres (Front: 225/40/18, Rear: 255/35/18).

Can anyone tell me before I go ahead and buy them if they will deffinately fit or will I need to do any modifications. My car has the standard M sports suspension and has not been lowered in any way.

THey will definitely NOT fit. The offset on the rear wheels is not right for the E36.

When you say 'offset' what exactly to you mean? .... can any modifications be made to make them fit?
