The sunroof in my e36 does not go back all the way. I push the button for it to move automatically and it stops about 1/3 of the way? Has anyone else experienced this, what did you do to fix it?
You can "Reset" the roof...
In its closed position, hold the "Raise" part of the button for many secs (over ten) and it should reset... Let me know if this works for you ;-)

Charming, as a fellow sunroof sufferer, I suggest is the clips they seem to fail on everyone else's BMW. It's a fairly easy fix if you have time. There are some great stuff about this on E 46 fanatics. Dell Marco does a particularly fabulous step-by-step guide.
