Hello i just bought my first bmw 1993 325i 4 door, i am just driving it for a week and now my passenger rear window got stuck. I pull the window down and it doesnt want to go back up, I checked the fuses but it seems that there is only fuses for the front side i checked the manual, I hear something about a memory inside the window control console? can anyone please help me I am in new york and it is freezing out side i am driving to work with the windown down, everyone think i am crazy and i get to work with a mega headache because of the cold.

Also I have to bring the knob to level 4 inorder to make the a/c or heat work, if i put it on level 1 2 or 3 with the knob it does not work any ideas what it can be

The window may have fallen off the edge of the pushrod, or you may need a new actuator. When this happened in my 528, it cost me about $300.

ya I have had that happen to me too. If your window motor isnt getting any power you may need a new switch, or the window just might be jammed. Best bet is to take the door panel off, its easy but I believe you need a torx screwdriver (t-20 maybe?). What happened actually to my front window was that the lever arm popped out of the track and got bent and jammed, and I had to bend it back. At least with the door panel off you can push the window back up! I hear you about the cold...I am up in Maine, ambient temp is about 2 degress F right now. Good luck-

There is a fix for that. Something to do with a capacitor. Try a search on the forum, "resistor pack", "resistor", "capacitor" would be good to use.
