So this afternoon, on my way to drop off my M3 to its new owner, I notice for the first time that the rear passenger door will not lock via the central locking system--either the button or the key. It will lock manually by pushing down the pin. It will also unlock via the CLS.
Wonderfully convenient time for something to break.
Sounds like your actuator is shot. You can buy the part at Pelican Parts. If you look around, there are some DIY FAQ's for this job. I had to change mine out this winter. Not much fun, pretty time consuming, but not all that difficult.
