it's a toss up for me... I have an e36 and I love it. some of the newer styles to me look kind of bad. I think the noses are too short now and the "cockpit" is too close to the front for my taste.. but that's not to say I don't love e46 though
the e46 M is cool with me, but the standard e46 doesn't do as much. My all time favorite is the e39 circa 2000+. AEs, Xenons, and clear corners standard make it my pick. The e36 is my second.

Most of you may not agree but I like the 318ti look.. very much.. but I wish it came with a 325 engine in it..

We had in the 90's the 323ti (e36), now we also have the 325ti (e46).

I like the angular look of the older cars. Very defined edges. Very German. The newer cars are just too bubbly for me.
