E36 opinion

I was just wondering if anyone else prefered the E36 body style more than all the others, even the new models?

it's a toss up for me... I have an e36 and I love it. some of the newer styles to me look kind of bad. I think the noses are too short now and the "cockpit" is too close to the front for my taste.. but that's not to say I don't love e46 though

the e46 M is cool with me, but the standard e46 doesn't do as much. My all time favorite is the e39 circa 2000+. AEs, Xenons, and clear corners standard make it my pick. The e36 is my second.

Most of you may not agree but I like the 318ti look.. very much.. but I wish it came with a 325 engine in it..

We had in the 90's the 323ti (e36), now we also have the 325ti (e46).

I really do like the e36 better than the e46. After selling my last car, I went to my book to see what the next car on my list of "cars to own", and the e36 coupe was next on the list

I like the angular look of the older cars. Very defined edges. Very German. The newer cars are just too bubbly for me.

I love the e36, I think it is the perfect mix between boxy and round styling. Some cars are just too round, specially American cars n

I agree about the E46 being too bubbly... I wouldn't mind a 2 dr E46 though, as long as it handled well with a sport package or something

the e36 is a body style that will still look good 20 years after it's production, unlike the earlier e30s
