If anyone can help it would be of great help, I have a 325i that wont start, I have spark, fuel, and compression. At first it sounded like it didnt have much compression because it was turning over fast. I am wondering if you maybe know if there are any usual problems of where to go next, Thanks
your positive you have compression? just by fluke we had a car come into the shop yesterday, with the same problem. turned out the crank wasnt turning (chain was broken). now i dont think this might be your problem but id check for compression again is what im saying.
i'm not too sure if i could be help either.. Harder to diagnose these problems without seeing/hearing the cars themselves in person as any mechanic would say. I just dred the day that I start having any sort of problem with my car.

The car now has compression, due to the injectors washing all the oil of the cyl. walls. Smoked like hell for 2 days, but seems to be running better now, it was a 95 with VANOS. Changing the oil because of all the gas in it.Then well see how she runs. Thanks for all that helped.

i had a feeling it was a compression issue. glad your running.
Now she runs, but it still smokes really bad, but not all the time, I drive it around and it will be running great but then out of nowhere, it will burn oil like crazy, Thinking rings, valve guides, or the pcv system but tried the pcv valve, and dosent help, the one by the front of the engine. Is there mabey another one some where else or any place oil could get in to the intake manifold?
