Where can I get a E-36 exhaust flange for a decent price or do I have to get it custom made from an exhaust gasket. The reason I am looking for the flange is because I am trying to build a custom exhaust for my car and I don't want to hack up my factory exhaust.

The exhaust flange is the thick piece of metal that has the holes to bolt your exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter. I am going to make a cat back exhaust from scratch, by hopefully finding a flange, getting the piping, and a decent muffler and tip.

If I can't find the flange I will have my uncle machine one out of 1'' thick steel from a exhaust gasket.

I just removed my old exhaust today and it is going in the garbage the pipes still look brand new (actually the muffler does too).... but the muffler rotted from the inside out so i got a M3 one real cheap and put it on there. If you are near Cincinnati come hack them off and take them or the scrap guys will be taking them.
