 E36 Diesel 318 tds 1995
Hey Folks,
I have an issue that I was wondering if you all could help me out on.
I have a 1995 BMW 318TDS 1.7DSL with 190k miles on the clock.
The car was running like a peach up until a few weeks ago when it started giving me a few headaches. Here is what it does:
Driving along, then the engine management light comes on and the car cuts out. The light is on the left hand side of the cluster and looks like an injector with 3 dotted line coming off it. It is amber in colour.
The car may start again in a moment or two, but, and heres my problem, twice now she hasnt and its been off to a mechanic!
I have had her serviced, done the glow plugs, drained the tank and cleaned it, checked all earths, engine sensors etc and done the fuel filter etc. No fuses are gone or perished so i know the engine is mechanically sound.
Does anyone have any ideas on what this may be?
