E36 aligning sunroof track.

Hello ppl.
ok this weekend I changed the broken clips on my 97 328is sunroof. well I was changing them , my buddy pushed the button and not only moved the track but broke the new clips. made him buy them again.

now I cant seem to get the track aligned . the sunroof opens to far back . an the motor starts to click. I need help please.

funny thing I used that link to change the clips. but doesn't show how to reset the track . in the site he said DO NOT MOVE THE TRACK WITH THE MOTOR( thanks to my buddy ) . I kind of got it in place . but its off just a lil .
it wont close all the way .and opens to far back .

Close the sunroof and take the motor out. Realign the track and reinstall the motor. Sometimes the teeth in the motor get out of place.
