E36 328is Brakes Upgrade - BMW Forum

I am going to be putting e36 m3 brakes and rotors on my 328is.. calipers, stainless steal lines, rotors, and pads.. But my question is do i also need the m3 front spindles to make them work???

If so how much are they and where would i buy them... besides the dealership?? .

i am allmost positive that everything is the same!! why waste money on new calipers,

change pads... and get some crossdrilled rotors.. and i think that would even be better then m3 brakes!

You do need the spindles too because the m3 has a floating rotor design, and the 325 and 328 have the rotor screwed on. Im almost positive that the 325 and 328 are the same. I have talked to people about putting the m3 brakes on my 325 and they said I need the spindles/the hub.

Cant you put 330 discs and calipers on the e36? Their bigger and i'm sure go straight on (aslong as you've got the calipers).

Yea, i have read a few artivlse that ssay you can put 330 discs and caliprs on too but you will need all the new parts... meanind spindles too

If you want M3 brakes on your 328, got to BAVAUTO.com They have them there and they are pricey. And they are NO WHERE NEAR the same, you wouldnt spend the money if they were.
