e36 325si window problems

I have a 1993 e36 2 door. last night my passenger door was slammed shut hard and now the window will now lower and raise when I open or close the door. just doesn't drop or lower to open the door but it does work fine with the switch. Is there any way to reset the window? any help would be great

Not sure if it will reset that feature... but the procedure to reset the auto-up / anti-pinch features is to put the window all the way up until it stops, down until it stops, release then hold down again for 5 seconds, then all the way up again, release and hold up again for 5 seconds.
