E36 318is battery light on

Hello ALL!! I got some problem just see if you guys can maybe help me out. I got the 318is the battery light came on and it telling me that my battery is not being charged. So i thought it was the alternator and take it to the BMW dealer they run some test and tell me that the alternator and the whole wires system is find and tell me that the battery need to replace. So i went and get a brand new battery put it in but the light is not going away. now I got another problem the Egn. light come on for a day and gone the next day, WHen run code reader it said P0505 so i wonder what could it be wrong. This just happend a day ago. Please help!!!!

after i swapped my dme relay i actually had a issue were i was getting a cel for battery voltage/ dme relay and it cleared itself then a week later my batt light came on and you could hear the grinding of the bearings on my alternator check the voltage at the batt yourself with car on should get around 14 turn on acc and so forth it shouldnt drop below 12 volts your voltage regulator could of been bad as well maybe they missed that

Also whilst cranking over you should get about 9v
