E36 318i Altezza Style Tail Lights

Hey guys,

I'm a new owner of my 318i E36, but want to try to get some Altezza style clear rear Tail Lights. Ive seen alot about headlights in this forum, but what about tail lights?

Also, I am from Australia, so any idea how to get them, if possible, over here?

i dont know about altezza, but M3 tail lights look much better, you should get those. I didnt even know they sold altezza, m3 ones will be easier to get.. in australia, i have no idea

To the original poster: if you like the look of those lights, go for it. It's your car. You are paying for the new lights.

However, these lights tend to be not sealed tight, so the moisture
gets in to them and look awful after washing the car. You will know
what I mean after driving through rain or car wash.
So, if you are sure that these lights are of high quality and sealed
tight, then you should have no problems.

Lastly, from what I have seen, the same lights can look great on
RED color cars; and the same lights lights look not_so_stylish on other
color cars.

Whew, US people not fans?

Im not sure how those angel eye lights wouldnt be classed as being as riced as the tail lights, can someone explain?

Yeah, those crystal lights that are posted above are simmilar to the ones i was thinking of, ive sourced them for $479 AUS, or there is another style with 2 lights, but the outside lights are twice the size.

My E36 is white, so i was thinking the clear lights would go nicely, and wouldnt be as stark as the red on white contrast on the stockies.

Have to get the clear corner indicator lights too.

Don't worry about it. Lots of people here get clear or smoked corneers. Significantly less people get clear tails. However, a lot of people get angel eyes or HIDS or deamon eyes or whatever. If you want the clears get the clears, it really doens't matter what they think. Have you checked ebay?

Nope, havent bought them, just found where i could buy them.

I cant find them on Ebay, must not be looking hard enough.
