| Driveshaft Vibration; new Carrier Bearing I hope someone here can help me out.
I was driving my '92 E36 325i the other day when teh drivesfat broke loose at the carrier bearing.
I replaced it, and now I have a new vibration that starts at about 2000 RPM in First Gear, so I suspect the Carrier bearing.
Is there an alignment procedure for the two halves of the diveshaft?
I have had the driveshaft out of there twice in the last couple of days and cannot find a reason for the vibration.
I suspect the guido unit, but do not get over 5-10 MPH whe I get shaken out of the driver's seat, and from what I've seen here the guido doesn't show until around 40 MPH.
I am a fairly skilled mechanic, but this is my first BMW (I've had it 5 years) so don't be afraid of getting too techical. |
