| Driver's Window Issues 98' 328i Conv Hello,
I have and issue I hope to get advise on before I mess it up when I get home from work.
Early this week, my driver's side Power Window didnot respond. I noticed as soon as I opened, because the convertible windows adjust on open and close. I couldn't hear or see any mechanical or electrical anything while triggering the power window buttons. It's just locked in place, no grinding or attempt to move. Seeing that it is getting cold, I have no real reason to open the window, and since it's up I kind of ignored it.
Suddenly yesterday evening, I hit the button and it opened. No weird sounds, no grinding. Just decided to work again, perfectly. Which makes me think electrical something.
Of course, the next morning (today), not so lucky. The window is back to stuck and not moving.
I have not messed with any fuses yet.
I have been looking at the circuit and fuse locations, and I do not see how it could just be one window if it were because of a cut off. I don't think it could be the motor either from what I described. I'm a little confused. I'm sure it could be a fuse I just haven't gotten to that and I am stuck at my desk thinking about it. Hoping to get some insight.
Thank you ahead of time. |
