drivers window

i have a 93 325i (4 door) and im having a couple problems.

1) when i roll my drivers window up, the window does not go straight up behind the weatherstripping, would my sliders have anything to do with this?

2) my heater does not blow air on the floor from the drivers side.

thanks in advance

1.take the door card off and take a look, but I would say yes its to do with the sliders.

2.Probably a sticky flap.

Chivas1,

In relation to number 2.. (sheesh that sounds bad)...

I noticed when I removed the pollen filter on mine that the ducting didn't quite fit. This was due to missing pins holding it in place. Thus I have no floor ventilation.

Check to make sure the ducting is completely in place. If it isn't.. secure it!

Of that isn't the case then Marti is right.. the flaps aren't working or the camgear is set wrong.

J.

Yes... i'm a total car nut! Why else would I upgrade my mower to rev to twice its standard rpm!

Go for the ducting and flaps in the ducting. Oh, try not to use your window until fixed or you could end up with loads of heartache.

the ducting under the drivers side right, since that is where i have the problem?

as for the window, i also saw a lot of broken glass inside the door and the window (glass) was not sitting right on the metal framing where the sliders go.

Yes the ducting where the problem is, as for the broken glass in the door this may be down to the side window being smashed before, best thing to do is leave it as is until you get the new bits ready to do the job.
