I've had two drivers side foglight bulbs burn out on me in the past two months. The houseing is intact and there arent any leaks for water to enter that I can tell. Has anyone else had this problem yet, or know how to diagnose it?

yeah i had this problem last year. and havent gotten around to fixing it. but what i noticed was with my problem was that i wasnt burning out hte bulbs because i was able to put it back in and it would work for a few days than it would go out.. i think my problem is a looose connection at the foglight itself ... if you find the bulb to be blown, im curious as to what bulbs your using, and are you touching the actual glass on the bulbs, the heat generated + the natural oils in your hands will explode the bulb, another thing to consider is if you have a short in your wiring.
u get no condensation on the inside of the housing? any kind of liquid can burn a bulb out... u can also check the fuse, and maybe lower the fuse amperage...
I'll have to check later today and see if the filament in the bulb is in fact broken or not, but I always take precautions not to touch the glass bulb with any bare skin and have always used a rag to insert them into the sockets. Some chick at an Autozone gave me some lightbulb grease last time I bought my silverstars and she said it helps the bulb maintain contact with the socket and leads to longer bulb life...but I'm pretty certain I only used that stuff for the headlights, which I have never had a problem with....hmmmmmm
