driver window doesnt work - BMW Forum

okay so heres the story, i ripped the door off my car and had to buy a new one. so i gutted my old door, i took out the wiring, glass, locks, just everything. then i got all of the glass and wiring and everything in the new door and the cls (central locking system) stoppped working and the window wont go up or down. im not too worried about the locking system but the window is whats concerning me. i have it all hooked up and whenever i press on the switch to go down the motor makes a clicking sound, but it doesnt do anything else. i need help cause i am very clueless on this right now.

and the mirrors stopped working too

Wiring issue my friend...
You might have mistakenly connected them up wrong, or grounded/earthed a connection...
Just have a determined, and precise look at the wiring !

shit! i just closed that door and now it wont open. both handles are moving but the door wont un-latch.
