Hey guys, as u know im ordering my full car makeover on the first of november (intake, chip, exhaust, rims, suspension and euro lights.)well, while researching a few final times, i just saw that the UUC exhasut only gives like 6 HP. isnt that kinda low for a exhasut system?? The AA offers a 8-15 HP gain. Then, i see that the conforti intake is only offered for e36 93-95, does that mean i cant use it in my 92?? GRRRR ghead ghead this is pissing me off. if anyone has any knowledge on these 2 products please let me know, i only have like a week before i place all my orders...
In reality...any intake no matter what is not going to give you that much more hp. I personally think a 10 or even a 15 hp gain from an intake is BS. I say get whatever but make sure it's good quality. You can probably use the intake. If you e-mail them they will probably say the e36 325's can use them...just not the e30's.
thanks, i talked to this guy whos gona hook up my baby, he's giving me the dinan cai for the conforti price..so ima stick with that, and he said that the UUC is mainlu for torque, so im ok now thanks for the input

First thing you need to learn about aftermarket advertising - it is all bs. Just becuase one company says they get 50% more gains than they actually do, and another company says they get 60% better gains than they actually do, doesn't mean the 2nd company is better. The most you are ever going to get from a CAI is 5, and the most you are ever going to get from an exhaust is 5-8. The UUC System U is widely reguarded as one of the best performing exhausts on the market. The AA intake, the Confortti intake, they all pretty much do the same thing and are going to give you just about the same gains.
I have both the conforti CAI and the UUC System U and I can tell you it's an amazing setup.
Also, the effects and gains of these parts feed off of eachother to help for your overall gain.
Intake(pulling more air) +Chip (adjusting air/fuel mixtures)+Exhaust (moving all that extra air out)
To do list:
Suspension--- researching
UUC System U TDM- 3/05
M50 manifold converstion 3/05
off to the tuning shop for custom software 4/05
Cams/lightened flywheel, throttlebody........ well lets see what happens
Dont expect to much gains from the Exhaust, they say they promise certain gains but they dont. Ive had Rouge, AA, and Stromung. The only thing that I noticed diffrent was the sound. But a chip along with a CAI will give you more gains then just the chip or just the CAI. The gains from the CAI and chip are seen at 60mph+.

I have a Hyundai Tiburon 03 V4 w/Injen CAI RS on it.. It claim to give around a 10-14 HP gain.. While I'm sure it's not that high on my car, I do feel the difference in accelaration and the car performs better overall.. The sound is very throaty.. I also have a mod chip on the car as well, bout a 10 HP gain or so it claims.. before I put the chip on, i still noticed a difference in performance, with the chip, it is slightly better, but nothing to write home about. but even with all that, my 95 325I (all stock, 189 HP) will still outrun my Tiburon...

V16 DOHC actually..
pretty peppy little car actually... I had a few other options I was looking at around the time I bought it: 03 Eclipse, 03 Celica, and 03 Mustang
Eclipse was a little light on features, and a pretty heavy car.. my car will beat it, and look better doing it.
the Celica looked way too small and only has a 1.8 liter engine, you cant get anything better in it.. It looked like a chick's car, not a real man's car..
Mustang V6 has bout as much accelaration or less then my Tiburon.. Though it's engine is bigger, it has a lot of weight to haul around.. The Mustang GT V8 was impressive, but no where near as impressive as the Nissan 350Z.. But both cars were not in the price range i wanted to be in.
Alas, I chose the Tiburon 03.. it has great looks and when I'm rolling down the road with my modified Tib, I get more stares then any one would in a Mustang, Celica, or Eclipse -- plus I paid less .. And that is what it's all about.
