door panels

I have a 94 325is.
My door panels are just falling apart.
We have been thinking about getting them redone.
But can I use another year or model to replace the old ones?
Or do they have to be the ones for my car?

im in the process of fixing my door cards as well
an from what ive been told all e36 door cards will fit but can be more expensive than just having the old ones repaired. If you were going to replace them with door cards of another e36 look for leather or m3 ones because the cloth ones will just fall to bits again there usless lol

Yes they are universal.. find a wrecker/recycler and get some new ones.

Be careful as the top and clips on the rest of it can fail and it wont fit right.

And yes.. leather looks better.. unless you have mine, where the leather is the same colour as the rest of it and you are confused as to what is leather and not!!! hehe

i got a qwote to fix mine at $30 a door any colour any fabric the rest of my doors are fine its just that crapy fabric thats on them.

and i priced up sum from another car an they were $280 so yeah. plus the ones fom another car may do the same thing then ur back to were you started.
as if you get the old ones re done at least u can take them back if anything starts to fray an thell have to fix it lol

IDK how bad yours are, but these videos are helpful if they're jusst loose and rattling.
