There's gotta be another place to buy new door panels besides the BMW dealership. Mine are completely falling apart. The glue holding the vinyl is completely gone and the two screws on either side of the door handle are the only things holding them on. Where else can I get a pair of panels (for a tan leather 2d coupe) for less than $250 each?
Also, how much does it normally cost to get a headliner replaced? What are some good places?
Thanks a lot.

Well you won't get very many replies on this because there really isn't very many places that sell these panels. I don't know of any myself. I've been here at this forum for a while now and no one seems to know anything about finding door panels anywhere other than the dealerships. I myself have looked. If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to hear them as well. Of course you could always just get the panel recovered at an upholstery shop but I'm looking for a brand new one. At Junkyards the first thing to go is the door panels, and most of the time they have begun to separate themselves.
Good luck.

Ebay has panels ALL THE TIME!!!!! from 20.00$ and up.
Or you could check out www.leatherseats.com These guys sell new BMW panel replacement fabrics from leather to vinyl to cloth whatever you need!
People have 'em, I was going to replace mine earlier but I called around and couldn't find a good price. There's small parts sites online, with dirty-sounding men that call you saying 'yeah.. i got the part'. Kinda creepy, but the price wasn't right. So I drove over to Home Depot and got some Gorilla Glue for the plastic attachments on the inside, and some contact cement for the material (wasn't as strong as I thought it would be.. I'd suggest using gorilla glue for that too) and some clips on ebay: http://search.ebay.com/bmw-door-clips
Theres a few auctions for 'em. That's the DIY option, but there are places around that have used, but decent doors. For a brand new panel though.. I think you're shit out of luck if you're not going to the dealer. Sorry.

thanks for the link on ebay for the clips.. i think i am gunna buy!! i really need them!!
Yeah... I took off my door once to see what's under it and try to fix a window problem.. bad news. The plastic attachments came right off the door, I can't believe they're only held on by glue, and not only were they off, most of the clips were broken.
It's not a big deal once you get the new clips. If you plastic things came off, just take 'em off, put the glue there and put them back on. That gorilla glue is some tough stuff. Hope the clips work for you!
P.S. To take the old clips off you pretty much have to break them, and to put the new ones on, you put one of the edges in the hole and twist it into place. I tried keeping the rubber washer on them, but I couldn't get them on that way, try it with the rubber washer and if you can't get it on with them it's no biggie, the door will still hold great!

I was told at BMW of Manhattan that new leather/vinyl door panels were $695 per panel!!! including removal of my old panel and installation of the new one. Plus there is warranty on labor and parts
on ebay you could find good used panels for $20-$200 per panel most of the time.
I DO NOT like Junk yards...because the try to sell used crap as if it was brand new from the dealership...
OK, thanks a lot for all the feedback. I think i'm going to try the gorilla glue. I tried some 5 min. epoxy... yea, don't do that. I even screwed some things back together. Every time i check ebay, they have gray door panels for the 4 door 325i, not 325is.
How much do you think an upholstery shop would charge to re-glue them or replace the vinyl?
