Door panel fixin'

Neub here,

My GF has a 92' 318i and the JO that sold it to her never put the door panels back on correctly. I did a search and saw that there could be an air bag issue?

I also read there is a special tool to remove them with, but it appears you can use a flathead. I am only firmilair with my Corrado panels. Are these similar?...ie are there screws or just clips. And should I diconnect the battery.

They are in pretty bad shape, so any FYI on how these suckers are hung would be appriciated.

doubt its an airbag issue on a 92 e36 as there were no side airbags. try replacing the door clips. those can be had cheap on ebay and bavauto.com
