Door Locks Dead, please help!

96' 328i E-36 Sedan.. Door Locks Dead, checked and replaced fuses, replaced Drivers Side Actuator. Still completely dead!

The door locks (front-rear-trunk) gradually went dead if this helps, intermittent, sometimes and now, not at all!

Relay Central Locking Unit maybe? I believe its on the passenger side kick panel above speaker but have not checked.

I just don't seem to be getting power through the system...

Any help would be welcomed at this point.

BTW: If you are replacing the Drivers Door Actuator, do not remove the door lock and or hinge and linkage unless it is really necessary. You can remove the actuator from inside the door, snaps off... snaps on.

Sounds like a relay issue from what you have described. Not sure where this is on the car tho!

I found my Relay... its mounted on the Drivers Side under the dash way up top on the far left and I'm can't get to it. I pulled the covering off under the steering column etc. and it looks like I need to pull up slightly the dashboard to gain access to the module from the top. All I really need to do is to pull the harness's to test and I can't even do that! The area is restricted with wires everywhere. Does anyone have any ideas as to dis-assemble to pull dash covering up. The blogs and manual said my Door Lock Central Locking Module was in front of the glovebox and it is not. I have now hot checked my fuses, installed new Drivers Door Actuator and now I need to check the Module. Also, if the rear door, or Gas Tank actuator is bad.. does that affect the main Drivers Door Actuator? I do not have keyless entry. 96' 328i Sedan. Thank you... JV
