Door handles don't work... HELP! - BMW Forum

I let the car sit for about 6 weeks while I was on vacation. I come back and The only doors that will open from the outside are the rear doors. The front doors will still open from the inside. I have removed the door panels and visually checked the handles. Even took the drivers handle off and nothing appears to be broken, all rods and connecters are ok. I can still lock and unlock the car form the outside. ANY IDEAS what may have happened anyone else been through this? I can post pictures if need be. Or should I just go to the junk yard and find some replacement handles? can I put the old tumblers back in the "new" handles? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The way to open them is to push at the door and pull the handle at the same time. this happens to mine to and i have not found the problem yet.

thanks for the help everyone, I moved the strikers and lubed up the lock everything works like a charm!!!!!! now I just have to put the door panels back on!
