Just got my car some fogs from ebay. Came with bracket and bulbs, they look really nice. Problems I am having.
1: How the hell does this bracket go on. I have no clue how to install this. The bracket fits, but does it go on the inside if so were does it go? Does it go on the outside of the bumper if so, were, and how?
2. I plugged them in to see if they worked. Turned on car turned on headlights and turned on the fog light button, but no light. WTF?
Guys any help would be great, especially if you got pics explaining the install of the fogs and brackets.
first thing, is u have to mount the brakets inside the foglight area, meaning u have to drill holes in your bumper,
then the foglights will just slide and clip into the braket... very simple...
did your car come with foglights originally? or this is the first time your putting them in?
is your car pre wired for foglights...
when u said , u pluged it in? where did u plug it in? check the fuse...
Hey thanks man. The car originally had them, but when the car was painted the old fogs were chucked out, cause they were cracked. The wires plug rite into the fog lights I just bought. I do have a button for the fogs inside. So to answer your question yes they were pre-wired. Dont know if a fuse went or not. What fuse would it be? About this drilling to mount I am handy with tools but I dont get it?
well your obviously not gunna do it now, since its snowing out there...
but, match up the braket to the hole in the bumper.. find where it gets drilled into, or get bolted into... make sure its secure... then the foglight just gets cliped into that bracket...
the fuse will be found in the fuse box under the hood...
If you had lights before, the holes are already there. Mine are bolted to the inside, how you get there, I don't know. There is a chart under the fuse box lid that will tell you what fuses are for what. You do have bulbs in the fog lights, right? The reason I ask is that I replaced a light about a year ago. The new one came with no bulb. One more thing, when you turned on the headlights, were they on bright? fogs go off when bright lights are turned on.

Hey thanks for all your help guys! To answer your question Tom the fogs came with lights, and brackets. The headlights when I turned them on were normal bright. But the fogs did not turn on. Now I know how the light goes in the bracket, what I cant understand is how the bracket gets held up. Does it go behind the bumper or rite in the hole in front. Its almost like there should be something to hold the bracket up, but I am not quite sure what it is.
the bracket goes "rite in the hole in front" as you put it... as long as the bracket is secure in the bumper, then u wont have to worry about anything else...
Well installed my foggies, and boy do they look good. Also installed a pair red/clear tails. They look good. Will post some pics soon. Only thing though with these new fogs, the headlights look crappy, need a new set.
