I have some nasty surface scratches that I can't afford to have someone take them out yet until the end of the summer... let me know if you guys have any better ideas...
I just bought some at walmart for 7 bucks and it is too good to be true... it does okay on MINOR and I MEAN MINOR scratches, but anything else it's shit... oh well live and learn
I retract my statement... this shit does work... if you use it for a long time by hand in one spot, it does make the scratch blend in and makes it hard to see... if you use a buffer is does an even better job in less time... I highly recommend this shit now... I'll show pics tomorrow
I used it on my old car...its basically drawing with a crayon over a scratch and buffing it and waxing it...it kinda works for minor scratches i guess. I'll tell ya what, it wasn't like the commercial where the guy scratches rocks and gravel into the hood of his Ferrari or whatever and then poof, all the scratches are gone---yeah, thats not true. You might be able to buy a miracle, but not for $10. Good luck.
See, I don't know how much it cost, but it is from a dealer. I got it when I bought the car. It is definately BMW paint though and I wouldn't go for anything else. I'd call the dealer if I were you.
I got some from a local paint shop here in Madison. They've got the mix stuff from BMW and any other make and can grey it to match the aging of the paint.
