Dome light help - BMW Forum

I have 94 325I. Dome light is coming on sporadically when I drive and especially when I hit a bump. Anybody have advise what may cause this? I was thinking maybe my dimmer switch was going out.

is your window going down a bit as well? i had the same thing happen when i hit a bump, turns out it was the sensor behind the door latch being worn.

he has a 4dr, they dont have the feature where the window goes down when the door opens....

dude but hes right, check the door latch and the sensors for alll ur doors, ur door(s) might not be closing all the way....

hey thanks Speed, i didnt know only 2 doors have that feature. its a sad day when you dont learn something new.
