Hello,

Attached image shows the spark plug in my '97 328i. All 6 of the spark plugs look the same. What I am concerned about is the red color in the middle. Does the spark plug look normal. Is it just normal wear ?

Thanks for your comments/help, in advance

Forgot to mention that the spark plugs are exactly 1 year old.

I think it looks normal. I should have some brownish coloring to it, your's isn't excessive. The electrode has a good shape to it, it's not covered in deposits or cracked.

I think your in good shape, I hope my plugs look like yours when I pull them out soon.
