Does Radio Need Code?

Im planning to take out the radio on my 328 and fix the dimming lights. Im curious if I take the radio and put it back in will I need a code to get it working again?

If it is your factory radio then I would say yes. The code should be in your BMW book written on a card. If you don't have it there may be a master unlock code or a work around (I'll check to see if I can find it), otherwise you'll have to get the info from a dealer by showing proof of ownership...
