Is that a question? Its possible, look for a tag that has the letter "s" on it on the differential.

to add to this comment, if they both move same direction than you have lsd, if they move opposite direction than you dont. simple.

I'm 99% sure you don't. The last chassis that had LSDs on the is models was the E30. E36 have open diffs.

thats not true, quite a few e36's came with LSD, i was sure that almost all pre obd2 325is's had lsd. i know mine has it. (3.15lsd)

My 94 didn't have an LSD. Niether did allan's 92 or my friend charlie's 99 323. It may have been a factory option, but it was by no means standard.

hmm maybe its a canadian thing. helping at my mechanics shop. i noticed almost all the 325's that i helped work on had lsd. maybe due to the amount of snow we get. i dunno.

Yeah, I don't know what happened. My E30 has a kickass LSD. Even the E46 330Ci and the E92 335i don't have LSD. Maybe BMW thinks that the higher end 3 series are too much of a threat to the M3 so they gank them with an open diff.

the 335 is suppose to have an LSD starting next year. the cars already pretty good on the corners i took one for a good drive a half month ago

The E36 LSD was a factory option. There aren't very many of them around.
