Does E36's 328 block fits on a 325???

Somebody told me i can put a 328is's block instead of mine, my car is a '93 325is, they told me the 328 block will fit without any modification on my cylinder head and my oil pan.
Does anybody know if it's true???? will i have problems with my computer???injection, etc.....??? are these blocks same sized?????
i'm asking this 'cause i'm about to buy this block but i don't want to have problems after buying it......

It will fit as going of year both used single vanos and all heads are the same so it will fit no probs.

not sure but make sure that the OBD II ( 328is block) and OBD I (ur 325is) dont cause any problems when you swap. of course you could always convert it back to OBD I but might cost a bit....not completely sure on this topic...perhaps jilphan can drop in a line on this when he comes back.

You´re right, mine has single VANOS......
but what about Valves, will they fit on the new cylinders (Bigger)???????
