"Right I decided to get my windows tinited on Sunday by a company called pro tints who are based in west london. The head tinter has been doing it for 12 years and has come over from the states their work really is top notch. I got 4 cars done that day and have managed to secure a deal where as people from the e36 coupe site will get their complte car done for 175.
Here are a few pics I was really impressed with their work and as many of u know i am a fuusy barstool when it comes to my car I couldn't fault there work.
they have a big tent which they bring to you if your in london they travel to you or you can travel to them in west london the front doors are not ment to be open as it lets dust"
That was a quote from the guy who has arranged this and a couple of users have replied to say they are perfectly happy too
$165 US?? Where did you find a deal like that? Ive been quoted between $250-$300 three seperate times now. Was it a chain like Ziebart or a private business??
I had mine done wednesday, cost me 160. I knew the guys friend so I got the discounted price. I thought 200 was standard for window tinting?
Besides, it doesn't matter what you pay as long as it comes out GOOD. I've seen some people seriously mess up window tinting. I would gladly pay an extra 100 if I knew the guy who was going to install the tint was good at it.
Tinted all windows or only the sides ??
Got my Mitsubishi Galant tinted on sides ONLY for 120$ and they wanted 200$ if they do also the rear window (that means they have to TAKE IT OFF and glue it back on place afterwards) but I said no as I was affraid they will brake it
A local speed shop has a guy come on Saturdays and does a complete tint job for $129. Excellent quality tint and labor too. I feel lucky after seein other prices that are out there
