leaving an "11" doesn't always mean you have an LSD and many open diff cars will leave two lines under optimal conditions. The question is will it ALWAYS leave two tire marks and when going around a hard corner, does the inside wheel only always slip?
BTW - to the guy above me - if your car is auto, you already have a 4.10 and you should upgrade to a 4.27

i never understood lsd, so if my car is parked with one wheel on the grass nd one wheel on the road, i try to do a burnout and only the wheel on the grass spins, does that mean no lsd?
Isn't an easy test to determine if you have a LSD:
1. Jack up the rear of the car so both wheels are off the ground
2. Spin one tire by hand
3. Observe the direction the other rear tire spins
4. If they spin in the same direction you have LSD if the spin in opposite directions you don't.
or you can just look to see if you car has a S--- tag on it, look at the rear diff and theres a little metal tag on it, if the number starts with an S its LSD if not its not, theres about a 99.9999999999% chance its not LSD unless someone put an M3 diff in... After the E30 BMW stopped putting the LSD units in most of their cars...

You can still leave an "11" under the right conditions in which both wheels have equal grip. Chances of an LSD are extremely limited unless the previous owner swapped one in.

What if the other wheel does not spin? That is how mine behave.
