any know know how to take apart the headlight housing without cracking it or ruining it.... i bought some halo rings, and i want to install them??? any advice

I've heard you can't do it. It is a sealed assembly.

i saw this on a site once that you can heat up the housing in a oven then the glue melts and you can take it apart, i'll see if i can find the link

yeah, if you have the stock north american headlights on your car, do not try to put in angel eyes, it is an extremely big hassle from what ive heard, and moisture will get in the lights and ruin them

buy european ellipsoid headlights by ZKW or Depo and put your halos in those

note: that link is for HONDA's... Not BMW E36 american headlights.

ZKW european elipsoids where the glas is calmped on, you can install it in those. The american plastic ones, you need to cut in it apart to install them... Problem is, you can't re-assemble your headlights and not have them look like absolte ASS.

Get ZKW's, it's probably best you go to umnitza and buy the complete package.
