| I am not sure because I have never done anything like that on an e36 but I assume you have to remove the lower dash panel(not sure), and any screws that would give you access to remove the entire cluster...Once the cluster is out, there will be either screws or clips holding the clear front on the cluster, once that is off, then if the rings are the only thing you are putting on, there must be some type of adhesive that came with them or you will need to go buy...Probably some super glue or something?
