Well its all about my drivers door, if something can go wrong with it, it has :P
firstly :For starters i cannot open the door from the outside, doesnt even hold any tension, so im taking it, that it has snapped, so looking at a new door lock actuator
Secondly : the whole interior door panel is fall off and making an annoying rattling sound "good timing fix it when i do the door"
Thirdly : The drivers window just fell out, well back down into the door, found out that its one of the sliders that hold the window in place.
Now i would like to DIY all this, any one here done any of these and would say get it down professionally
You'll need new clips for the door panel, or an entirely new panel depending on how bad of shape its in. (I'm getting a brand new one.)
The window you can fix, (I've replaced both of mine, taken them out and put them back with new plastic slides.)
As for the door, I dunno whether or not you can fix that yourself.

My sh*t is not disco. Thank You.
the first problem happened to my car not too long ago. i found out that it was my locking assembly, but i was like you and thought it was the actuator. so i took it in to my mechanic bc mine is a 2door, and its kinda tough to replace that bc the window and everything is in the way. but part and labor was around $400.
Thats good... just so you know... CAPS is YELLING TO US... ok...
As for the DIY's
The door panel just needs some new clips like said before...
Window.. search around the internet and you will find a good DIY on fixing the window.. I know there are some.. (I'm not at home so I dont have all the good sites saved on this piece of a computer.)
As for the actuator.. once you have the door panel off.. it will be obvious how the actuator fits in.. and is worked...
It would be a good idea to replace that... if you cant mess with the door handel and make it slightly work at all.. then its the actuator... if you can get it to work just a little.. then it might just be hung up.. and either not tight any more.. or bad all together... best bet.. get a new one.. or take the panel off... and see for your self how it works.. and what its doing...
Unfortunately if you want a new door panel, you'll have to go to the dealership. Mine was originally 250 but I get all of my parts 30 percent off.
