dinging noise

sometimes im just driving along and i hear the ding-ding noise for a second or two like when you have the keys in the ignition. what does this mean? i remember people on here talking about it before. is it low tire pressure or something?

Low tire pressure isn't being measured by E36's.

Is it when the outside temp is below 3 degrees celsius?

There is a gong below you steering colomn, try pushing the loudspeaker sign on your computer and you'll loose the ding-ding probably

Does it happen about every hour? Could be the memo button. Push it and see if it goes away.
