Theres a dinan chip specifically for your transmission? I thought there was just the performance upgrade ecu.

they sell both tranny and engine software.

I think the tranny chip tells the computers and everything controlling shifting that it's OK to rev to 7k instead of shifting at 6500. It probably also has some other stuff too it, but i'm not sure.

i have an auto wasn't my choice but the fact that i am 17 and ihave a ca is good enough for me. I have heard of these chips, but never anythign more than their purpose adn them being mentioned. anyone got any info on them? price? best ones?

I think DINAN is the only ones that carry a tranny chip. Check with them for price.

well if thats all that it is, there is a much easier way to do that for free. when you want to go fast, drop it down to 1, then wen u near about 6400 rpms (redline 4 my car) then push ur lil thingy knob up to 2 adn so on until ur back into drive. that way u can prevent early shiftign adn it will only up shift when you allow it.


anyoen know if this is seriously damaging the car?
