I've heard people talk about straight pipe and different named pipes.. what's the differences and what's the best? Also what are the down falls of a straight pipe
My working defintion of a straight pipe would be omiting the cat. Also referred to as a test pipe, they are great for maximizing power, but will not pass emissions.
Actually if you check the specs, bmw's don't fare much better with straight pipes...which is not normal for cars. They are also about the loudest godamn things you will hear in your life.
ohh okay...I think the exaust my buddy built for me kind of sucks.. he swears by it on his m3, but since it was installed, it seems as if I've lost some hp.. I'm looking at AA's OBD1 1000 dolla package which includes a new aa exaust, chip and intake...
