Hello all~!
I just bought a 98 318i, in AWESOME CONDITION! Im really happy with it but i need to replace the gauge cluster bulbs, one of them is out and it is really really pissin me off! How do i get the gauge cluster out? It does NOT have a tilt steering wheel from what i can figure, i took the bottom panel off the drivers side and have no idea where to go from there. I've taken hundereds of clusters out but i cant figure this one out? What do i have to do, do i have to remove the steering wheel? its an airbag wheel. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OUT!
there's two screws, then perform the work of a contortion artist, while disconnecting the connections on the rear, it'll slide out. You don't have to remove the steering wheel, just need to be creative with how you twist and turn it.
