| In desperate need of help!
Hey guys, Im sorry for this post if it considered noob or not. If so I can't help it. I can't find any posts online with my exact problem and im without a car and cannot go to work or school without my car. It is a 1992 325i. I came from walmart to home. Crank and ran just fine. I go out to get in it to go to the store a few hours later and I cranks but dies a second later. Rpm wont go above 500 and acts no different if i press the throttle. I tried cranking it while holding the gas but it wont crank at all if I do that. I have to crank it without touching the gas but again it idles around 300-500 for a second then dies. I can get the money to buy parts and am generally able to replace basic components(I cant do a rebuild or anything of that degree) so i should be able to replace most sensors but i have limited diagnostic abilities and to me it sounds like MAF sensor. I unhooked the sensor but it does the same thing unhooked. What could it be? Im desperate |
