Desperate Help Needed Please

Basically, I own a 1995 bmw m3 and am having major trouble finding a gear knob to fit my car...the old one was broken and loose, so I bought a m3 gear knob off ebay, but it does not fit as the gear knob has a thread inside it, but the gear stick has no thread...like the one shown here:

Any ideas where i can get a knob to fit??

Unfortunetely, every hit you get for "shift knob" will be Spiff or Red making fun of my wood grain, lol

thats because you bought the worng gear knobt.
on most bmw the gear knobt if fitted by being pressed into the shift rod. meaning it just presses on top of the rod and it will clip in place..

the treated gear knobs where for the very old cars.. dont know till when..

but just make sure when you look for another gear knobt you look for whats models it fits and all..

You can find good knobs from anyone. ACS, OEM Lighted Knobs, LeatherZ (My Favorite) all they do is pop on. I have a OEM Lighted Knob I can sell to you....PM me if intrested
