Here it is at last, my multipurpose thread that EVERYONE has to respond to (except slver). So I was going to do a motor swap, but that came out to be just too expensive, so I got over it. Instead here is what I am doing:

1) New rims. The ones I have are just too small. I LOVE these really skinny 5 spoke alloy rims, but I have yet to see pics of them online. Anyone with pics of e36's with sexy rims please post them here, choosing rims is a tough thing! BTW - I am selling my old rims+tires (they have about 2k miles on them) for around $1000 - that is negociable.

2) New cams - if anyone here knows anything about cams please respond...they are tough!!

3) Front and rear body kit --> didn't realize they were so damn expensive!! I can get these 2 peices for about $400 total, I think they look nice.

4) Spoiler ---> I think I am gonna go with the m3 spoiler---> If anyone knows where I can get the m3 spoiler w/ tail light please let me know.

This post is purely to hear peoples opinions/ideas/suggestions! Don't hold anything back!!

3.2 L M3 cams will suit you well. Then you'll need a custom chip burned, try turner I think they have a kit.

the front spoiler looks ok, but the rear vallance is fugly. It looks like a cheap copy of the ///M3 rear. Get the M-Technic version, looks much better.

As for aftermarket wheels, the BBS RC and Hamann HM2 look sweet IMO.

Def. go with the Hanmann HM2s if you want 5 spoke wheels, jllphan beat me to it B) . I personly wouldnt spend money on the body. parts + paint = $$$$ in the end. I would probly get a front lip and the eyelids, not the rear.

ANWAY if you decide to get stuff painted. I would paint your mouldings and door pillars because if you paint stuff at different times its way more $$$. Also, dont worry about the paint chipping off the mouldings I got mine painted, worth every penny. But I have a 93' I think the moulding on the 94' + have the texture on them but anyway def. good choice. Also, your door handles paint. Looks good IMO. But only get everything painted if you decide to get your lip etc....

Links to BBS RC and Hamann HM2 wheels? Also, links to the M-Technic rear bodykit? BavAuto didn't look like it had one.

Whenever you see an e36 with barely ANY tire lip, are those 18's or 19's? I would hate to get 19's, but little tire lip on bmw's looks SOOOOOOOOOO sexy.

deloriant, if you have to upgrade the looks of your car, do it for the better.

i would recomment getting some 22s, chrome of course, then getting tvs in the head rests...yes even the back ones... getting a super birght paint job, with flames, duh..... quad fart can exhaust that comes out of the bumper, then 5% tint all around, yes, even the windshield. i think that you hsould be good to go.
