deck installation help!!!

hey i own a 1995 318ti and im puting my kenwood deck into it everythings good i have all the wires connected but it seems like their no room everytime i try to pack everything in their i doesnt go all the way and it just falls out.. any advice, i dont have the metal caseing for the deck is that what im doing wrong?

hey, well i had an old kenwood in my car and that fit fine. and yes, u need the metal casing thing, thats what the cd player will grip to! otherwise i guess it will just slide back out, coz the wires will push it.

did u put the cage in?? if you get that in there, its basically impossible to get it out w/o the keys... atleast thats how my pioneer is. I also have sub wires...
